Privacy Policy

This App is for personal/private use, operated by a single developer to manage their own TikTok account. This page explains what data is processed and how.

1. Data collected

• TikTok access/refresh tokens (OAuth2): obtained after the operator authorizes the App through TikTok's official flow. Stored locally, in plain text, only on the operator's machine, and never transmitted to third parties.
• Video files: provided by the operator from a local directory, used solely to generate a caption/hashtags (via the Google Gemini API) and for upload to the official TikTok API.
• Basic TikTok profile information (open id, display name, avatar): obtained via the user.info.basic scope solely to identify the authenticated account.

2. How data is used

Data is used exclusively to let the App generate caption and hashtag proposals with the Google Gemini API, and to publish/schedule videos on the operator's own TikTok account, subject to manual approval before each publication.

3. Data sharing

No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties. The only external services contacted by the App are: (a) the official TikTok API, for authentication and publishing; and (b) the Google Gemini API, for video content analysis and text generation.

4. Storage and retention

Tokens and publication records are stored only locally, on the operator's machine, and can be manually deleted at any time. No remote database is maintained by the App.

5. User rights

Since the App operates on a single account controlled by the operator, the operator can at any time revoke the App's access directly from their TikTok connected-apps settings, and delete any locally stored data.
